Why do you need to come in for refills? The dreaded lash shed

Wish upon a lash…the dreaded lash shedding cycle. Let’s get technical…this is taking me back to esthetician school. Did you know your lashes have different phases known as lash cycles? Just like all the hair on your body your lashes shed. If they didn’t imagine how long they would be! Lashes have a life cycle consisting of three phases: the growth phase (anagen), the degradation phase (catagen) and the resting phase (telogen). Following the telogen phase, the lash falls out and the life cycle begins again with a new lash in the anagen phase If you care for your lashes properly, aka…DON’T PICK THEM eyelash extensions will NOT make your real lashes fall out prematurely. Your real eyelashes shed on a 30-day cycle, so your lashes will fall out naturally over the 30 days. That’s why you come in for your “refill” aka “infill” appointments. These are necessary every three to four weeks because of this shedding process.
